Constructed in 304 grade stainless steel and of high capacity these filters are designed for long service in filtering water with inorganic particles. Flow is from inside to outside. Inlet and outlet connections are standard grooved, threaded available (by special order). Available in sizes 2", 3" and 4".

The body, cartridge and handle are of 304 stainless steel. The cover and cross-tee are of close-grained cast iron protected by fused epoxy coating. The cartridge is exceptionally strong with woven stainless steel mesh supported by a perforated screen 0.040" thick. All joints are welded. Rated pressure is 100 psi. Maximum pressure is 120 psi.

The cover can be easily and quickly removed without tools for inspection. The cartridge has large rubber seals with 'ears' that centre the cartridge for easy re-assembly. Screens in 40, 80 & 150 mesh are available.

Filters can be manifold for larger capacity filter stations. 1/4" pressure gauge connections are provided on inlet and outlet. Depending on the orientation of the outlet the cover can be easily repositioned to ensure the flushing port faces downwards.
