In-Line Fused Epoxy Coated Steel Screen Filters
Carbon steel welded construction gives strength and reggedness
and hot fused epoxy coating on all surfaces gives protection from corrosion.
Suitable for filtering water with inorganic particles where opening the flushing
port is normally sufficient to clean the filter. Cover and cross-tee are
of close-grained cast iron. The cover is easity opened without tools for
inspection. Inlet and outlet connections are available flanged and threaded
(by special order). Sizes available are 3", 4" & 6".
The body, cover and cross-tee are protected by epoxy coating, which is applied after cleaning and chemically treating all surfaces. The metal is heated and the epoxy powder electrostatically sprayed so it covers all parts. As the powder hits the surface it melts to forma smooth, even and impervious coating.
